Hi Parents-
Hope you each had a great weekend! We had family in town this weekend to celebrate my mother-in-law's 65th birthday, and had so much fun.
We are celebrating Kindness this week, and a note went home in backpacks Friday about ways to show kindness. Note from Mrs. Obrien:
Please encourage students to perform as many acts of kindness as possible and record it on their sheets. They need a parent signature and are due next Friday. Students who perform 25 acts of kindness will receive a small prize, students who perform all 50 will get to make a handprint on the KINDNESS MANNERS mural.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Tomorrow's theme is: Crazy for Kindness and students are encouraged to wear crazy hats or hair.

Sight Words/Word Wall: have, way, -et
Writing: Penguin research
Reading: Penguin research
Phonics/Word Work: review digraphs (sh, th, ch, wh) begin 's' blends (sl, sn, st)
Math: Quantities to 20
Social Studies: Presidents and Patriotism
Technology: Seesaw, Chatterkid, Endless Word Play, Kids A-Z
100th Day:
- Two notes went home in the Tuesday folder about celebrating the 100th day of school next week on Wednesday. Please let me know if you have any questions about the collections or t-shirt activity.
- I'll be emailing a Google Doc with items that are being requested for the 100th day next week. Thanks in advance for your donations!
