We had a blast at our end of the year party. Thanks so much to our homeroom mom Autumn, and the parents that helped today. Super fun way to end the year!
In your child's backpack are a few more items from clean up today, Tuesday folder with report card, and a S'mores treat that I sent home with them.
Thank you so very much for the thoughtful gifts, cards, hugs and kind words. You all have been so thoughtful all year, and really have made me feel so loved. Your kiddos gave me extra hugs today, and I cherished each and every one of them.
This sweet group came to me so eager to learn, and have been that way all through the school year. We had a lot of giggles, went through a TON of glue sticks, and really became a class family. They came to school and entered a classroom of new faces, but left with friendships that you will watch continue to grow throughout the elementary years. The closeness of this class, and the support they offer each other, is what really stood out to me this year. I can't wait to watch these amazing kiddos as they go through FBE!
This year, I've watched little ones that were hesitant with challenges take the lead and present to the class...I've watched energetic friends encourage others to come out of their shell and feel comfortable in doing so...I've watched these students blossom into such wonderful readers and writers...and best of all, I've seen each student become confident and PROUD of their accomplishments and hard work.
As thrilled as I am with their academic growth, I am so encouraged by the way they came together as a supportive group and genuinely enjoyed being part of a community. It is my hope that your child is leaving feeling loved, and know that their kindergarten class (and teacher!!) will ALWAYS be cheering them on!
Please feel free to reach out to me! I love to hear about accomplishments, so please keep me informed of the great things that your kiddo does next year!
That's it for my final update! Thank you for giving me the honor of shaping your child this year. I'll keep them all in my heart!
Have a wonderful summer!
