Wow, half way through kindergarten!! Time sure flies when you're having fun, and we have learned TONS along the way!
Thanks so much for a wonderful first semester. Each of your kiddos make such a special contribution to our class, and I am so lucky to get to be their teacher. Thank each of you for the strong partnership...it makes a huge impact on their education!
On Wednesday, Mrs. Rodriguez's 4th grade class invited us to their "Reading Restaurant". The kids had snacks, and the 4th graders read them books selected from the menu they created to be read to them. Our class was so respectful and great listeners...made me proud!! They had a blast!
On Thursday we had our campus wide sing along. This is so fun for the staff and kids...we sang Christmas carols along with the Musicats and music teachers.
Our party went so smoothly! Many thanks to our hard working room mom Autumn (Grace/Vivienne's mom) and all the parents that helped with the party. The kids had so much fun!
I sent home their holiday bag with the party crafts, any holiday classwork, a gift from me, thank you notes, and a note from the school about a reading program. I sent home the gifts that they made for you on Wednesday...so if they're not under the tree, please check the backpacks!
Workroom Volunteers Needed
Thanks so much for the hard work in the workroom this past semester! Due to schedule change, the current volunteer will not be continuing after this semester. I do have one person who can help, but it really is a two person job most of the time. Our workroom time is 7:55 on Mondays. Please let me know if this is something that you are able to help with. Thanks so much for your support!
