Hope everyone had a great week! It sure flew by!
Isabella was our Star Student, and we enjoyed learning more about her!
This week in math we continued to work with graphs. We also incorporated Dr. Seuss in our daily math activities.
In Social Studies, we finished up our American Symbols unit..and also learned about technology then/now.
In Language Arts, we read several Dr. Seuss books and had activities to go with each one. The word wall word was 'then', and the word family was -ake. We also learned about initial sound deletion.
We had a blast with all the daily themes for Dr. Seuss! The kids enjoyed all the silly words and rhymes in the books we read.
Field Day was a success! The day is chaotic fun, so I would like to thank you so much for helping! Couldn't have done it without you! Loved all the smiles, and the kids had so much fun!
If you took pictures, could you please send me a few? My camera decided not to work today. Thanks in advance!
Next week we will be learning about:
Math: Number Sense Review
Language Arts: Lullabies, long/short vowels, word wall word: 'when', word family: "-ag". In writing we will talk about revising, word choice, and capitalization. We will also be discussing blends.
- Spring Break: March 14-18
Thanks so much for all you do! Expect some tired kindergarteners today, they played their little hearts out!
